Current Faves: Etsy Shops

A little love for a few favorite Etsy shops right now. In a sea of cheesy, crafty crap you can still find some killer stuff on there. I'm finding that the suggestions algorithm works pretty well too!

1/ Portuguese Vintage
Continuing my obsession with my heritage and all things Portuguese this shop has a great selection of interesting European knick knacks and lots of brass pieces.

2/ 1220CeramicsStudio
The rustic ceramics from this shop are moody and have hand hewn depth. I just placed my first order and can't wait to use the pieces on an upcoming cookbook.

3/ Mooshop
All of the Lithuanian linen bedding with all of the tasteful lace trim. Love the super dark grey. My bed will be getting some new sheets soon.

Interior Decorating Debut

So excited to share my first interior decorating project! Since she moved in about a year and a half ago it's been a wonderful journey to concept and implement a design for my friend Alice Gao's apartment. We really started from scratch. Alice had almost no furniture when she moved in, and though we were a little limited by the fact that it's a rental (and didn't want to risk any deposit), I feel really proud of achieving a space that represents her style and different facets and feels natural for her. It did take a little longer than expected- we're both pointing fingers at very busy schedules that included extensive traveling- but it's finally come together and feels so good to see it finished!

This was such a great experience and way for me to flex my styling muscles in a new, slightly different territory. The full home tour posted a few days ago on A Cup Of Jo, go take a look and let me know what you think!

New Work // Zazen Bear

Lots of new work that I am super proud of coming soon to an updated portfolio near you, but until I actually finish that project posting some stuff here that I'm excited to share. I made these images with Alice Gao for Zazen Bear, a new jewelry line with a store in Soho. I really enjoyed bringing my styling into the 3rd dimension and working with a parts model. And one of those environmental shots is my new screen saver, I can't get enough of the simplicity and air. So, so happy with these images.
